ifilm weekend movie 'Sheida' is a sweet narrative of love amidst burning fire of war, a review says.

Directed by Kamal Tabrizi, 'Sheida' has been set in Iraq-Iran war time.

Two people who perhaps were not meant to ever fall in love find each other through the worst circumstances.

A wounded soldier who cannot see and a nurse patiently in care will take them all the way. The soldier comes from a rich family while the nurse has lived in a middle class household.

But that's not all. The nature of emotions featured on Tabrizi's masterpiece is different. It smashes the clichés about love.

She recites him verses of the holy Quran while he is in excruciating pain due to his injured eyes. That's when he miraculously feels at ease.

The two lost track of one another after the war while they have no wishes but to reunite. Their destiny wants different things for them, though.

The concluding scene of the film shows them in a different hospital with the man still being a patient and the woman a tending nurse. She must recite the holy Quran to save him.

The flick has marked several screenings at national and international film festivals.

It was among the titles to hit the silver screens of 17th Fajr Film Festival in Tehran.
